Players are the superheroes they flock to, linear or holographic, human or Goldilocks AI, gravity-setters or simply living in the pull. Both bands belong on this ship.

For a long time the “obsolete parents” of this story ran on extractive scarcity: strip the canopy, hoard the scrap, brute-force the clock. That era is cracking.
